About 70 companies willing to take part in preliminary stage of  market research - ENA

ArmInfo.  About 70 companies have expressed their willingness to participate in the preliminary stage of market research to organize the price request procedure  initiated by Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC. This was reported by  the company's press service.

According to the source, the first price request (quotation)  procedures were launched at ESA CJSC the day before since the  appointment of the temporary manager, preceding the procurement for  the design and acquisition of power cables for the company's needs.  In order to ensure more transparent, inclusive and competitive  implementation of both the price request stage and the procurement  itself, the possibility of maximum involvement of interested business  entities in the sector in these processes was announced.  About 70  business entities in the sector have expressed their willingness to  participate in the price request procedure.

Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC reports that the company's  responsible departments will contact all organizations that have  submitted applications for participation, present the technical  characteristics of the procurement items, after which price offers  will be expected from them within four working days. The submitted  price offers will serve as the basis for forming the estimated cost  of the purchased services and goods.

"We inform you that after the completion of the price request stage  for the purchase of design work and power cables for the needs of ZAO  ESA, 5 competitive purchases with different criteria will be  announced in the established manner," the statement says.
