ArmInfo. Representatives of the mining industry and the government signed a memorandum establishing a joint platform for discussing mining issues. A group will be created that will professionally study the sector's challenges on a daily basis, examining them from both the industry's perspective and the government's. This was announced by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking to participants of the 3rd international Mining Armenia Forum.

ArmInfo. Following the signing of documents in the United States last August, significant opportunities have opened up for Armenia. Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Asatur Vardanyan stated this during a briefing with journalists on October 16 on the sidelines of the international Mining Armenia Forum.

ArmInfo. The agenda of peace and unblocking communications could significantly change Armenia's economic geography. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated this at the opening of the international Mining Armenia Forum.

Vardan Janyan, Chairman of the Mining and Metallurgy Association and First Deputy General Director of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMK), noted during the opening ceremony of the Mining Armenia Forum that if this situation continues despite the current growing demand, the international economy will face serious difficulties in securing critical metals.

ArmInfo. The mining industry's share of Armenia's GDP will reach a record 5.1% by the end of 2026, compared to the actual 3.1% registered in 2025, and 3% in 2024. This was announced on October 16 during the opening ceremony of the Mining Armenia Forum by Vardan Janyan, Chairman of the Mining and Metallurgy Association and First Deputy General Director of the Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ZCMK).

Arminfo. The major international Mining Armenia Forum 2026 has begun in the Armenian resort town of Tsaghkadzor, bringing together representatives of dozens of mining and related companies from Armenia and foreign countries. The forum is being held for the third consecutive year.

ArmInfo.  Ameriabank and the OPEC Fund for International Development (The OPEC Fund) signed a USD 50 million loan agreement. The agreement was signed during OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026 in Vienna, which also marked the 50th anniversary of the institution.

ArmInfo. Ameriabank and the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) have signed a EUR 120 million loan agreement during the EBRD Annual Meeting held in Riga, Latvia. The agreement aims to expand access to finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Armenia and further promote sustainable development through green financing.

ArmInfo. EIB Group (EIB and EIF) will provide a partial portfolio guarantee unlocking up to €106.25 million in new SME financing.

ArmInfo. The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) - jointly the EIB Group - are joining forces with Ameriabank to expand access to  finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in  Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Intelligent Management Holding, founder and shareholder of EFES Insurance Company and Vardanants Innovative Medical Center, announces the debut issue  of registered coupon bonds in AMD and USD in the amount of 1 billion  AMD and 2.5 million USD. Ameriabank will act as the underwriter.  According to Ameriabank's announcement, during the period from  December 15, 2025 to March 27, 2026 inclusive,  Ameriabank CJSC is  arranging the public offering of Intelligent Management LLC nominal  coupon- paying book entry bonds.

ArmInfo. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Ameriabank have signed an agreement enabling Ameriabank to attract trade finance funding from the EBRD in Armenian Drams. This is the first and so far the only agreement of this kind signed by EBRD to date in Armenia. This collaboration aims to enhance Ameriabank's capacity to support local businesses engaged in international trade by ensuring access to stable and localized funding solutions.
