ArmInfo. Armenia and Iran discussed cooperation in urban development. This was reported by the press service of the Urban Development Committee, citing the results of a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Committee Vahan Misakyan and Advisor to the Chairman Hovsep Oveyan with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirogolami.

The parties emphasized the importance of deepening existing cooperation and confirmed their readiness to implement work in the areas outlined in the memorandum of understanding signed between the Urban Development Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Regarding the significant volume of construction in Armenia, the Ambassador noted that Iranian companies are ready to contribute their experience in the use of equipment, materials, and modern technologies to joint projects with Armenian companies.
