ArmInfo. The Control Committee of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) has responded to accusations made by the company's interim manager, Romanos Petrosyan, regarding "inflated" electricity consumption before the management change.
The day before, Romanos Petrosyan stated that targeted inspections at several ENA branch offices had uncovered unfounded inaccuracies, typically involving budget organizations. "But what was revealed today? Certain "specialists" or "professional groups" within these ENA units, in their own way, had carried out recalculations amounting to approximately 8,320 kWh, even for the Nth military unit stationed in Armenia," he wrote on social media. "In 2025, prior to the appointment of the interim manager, as a result of David Ghazinyan's activities, a total of 95,457 kWh of erroneous calculations or recalculations were discovered at the ENA CJSC branches, leading to 51 company employees being held accountable or dismissed," the ESA Control Committee stated.
"The loud statements by Civil Contract members about 8,000 kWh are simply ridiculous," the Committee stated.
