Italian Ambassador appreciates Armenia`s efforts to create a  favorable environment for foreign investment 

ArmInfo.At a meeting with Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan, Italian Ambassador to Armenia Alessandro Ferranti highly appreciated the country's efforts to create a favorable environment for foreign investment. 

As reported by the press service of the Armenian Finance Ministry, in  this regard, Ferranti touched upon the positive developments recorded  in the field of economic cooperation recently. In particular, the  initiative to create an Italian foreign trade office at the embassy,  aimed at activating ties between the business circles of the two  countries. 

In turn, the minister presented the current economic situation in  Armenia to the ambassador, emphasizing the importance of improving  the Armenian-Italian investment environment and strengthening trade  and economic cooperation. 

As part of the discussion of possible areas for expanding bilateral  cooperation, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on the  issues on the agenda.
