ArmInfo. Syunik Airport has temporarily suspended Yerevan- Kapan-Yerevan flights. According to the airport's official statement, this decision was made due to maintenance work on its aircraft.
"The maintenance is being carried out to ensure the safety and comfort of flights," the source said. Karen Vardanyan, the head of NovAir, which operates the Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan flight, said that aircraft maintenance could take up to 4 months. However, given the growing popularity of the route, he assured that after the completion of these technical processes, the company will continue to operate.
According to Vardanyan, in January-September 2025 alone, the airline operated 95 flights, transporting 2,096 passengers, which is 19 flights more than the year before. Further information on the resumption of flights can be found on Syunik Airport's official Facebook page.
