ArmInfo. The information database of the Cadastre Committee of Armenia will be made available so that information can be obtained online when making real estate transactions. The legislative package, which provides for amendments and additions to the Law On State Registration of Property Rights and related laws, was discussed in the first reading at the meeting of the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs on September 3.
Presenting the draft law, the head of the Cadastre Committee Suren Tovmasyan reminded that, according to the adopted legal norms, the process of imposing a lien on real estate in the RA should be fully digitalized. This norm has been in force for almost a year, but there was a gap in the section regarding the judiciary.
According to the draft law, decisions of the judicial authorities regarding any property, real estate or claim must also be submitted to the system implemented in the Cadastre Committee until the judicial authorities also have their own digital systems.
"We will create the possibility of temporary maintenance of the information bases of the Real Estate Cadastre Committee, and in each case of providing citizens with information on the application, we will be able to reflect the decisions received through all information channels available at that time in unified reference materials or other information registers," noted Suren Tovmasyan.
It is planned that the bill will ensure the full applicability of the electronic system introduced by this decision, and will also allow the entry of court decisions on the application or lifting of restrictions on real estate in the State Register of Real Estate in electronic form.
The initiative received a positive conclusion from the commission
