ArmInfo. The main technological event of the year in Armenia - DigiTec 2025 - will be held in Yerevan from October 10 to 12 and promises to be the largest in history. The organizers expect to host more than 40,000 visitors and participants from 20 countries, including over 100 global technology leaders and 250 companies in the exhibition area.
This year, the event will be held for the 20th time and simultaneously in three formats - a festival, an exhibition and a conference. This year's discussions will focus on artificial intelligence, venture capital and the rapid growth of technology companies. The organizers promise a rich program and a record number of events as part of the anniversary event.
Among the first confirmed speakers are Rev Lebaredyan, Vice President of NVIDIA (USA), Jack McCauley, Co-Founder of Oculus and Professor at the University of Berkeley (USA), Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder and President of Moderna, Founder of Flagship Pioneering (USA). <2025 is a special year for us: we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of DigiTec. Over the past two decades, the project has grown into the main symbol of technological Armenia. Today, it is no longer just an exhibition, but a kind of of the technosphere, an event that sums up the results and sets the direction for the future>, - noted DigiTec Director Khachatur Hakobyan.
Sargis Karapetyan, Director of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE), added that DigiTec is one of the key projects of UATE.
We believe that the platform will help strengthen Armenia's role as a regional technological hub>, - he emphasized.
The history of DigiTec began in 2005. Its founder was the undisputed leader of the Armenian technological community, long-term director of UATE - the late Karen Vardanyan.
We also add that according to RA statistics, in the first half of 2025, the revenue of the information technology (IT) sector of Armenia amounted to 298.4 billion drams, which is 25.6% higher than the figure for the previous year.
