Minister:  Draft law "On Cybersecurity" submitted to  National  Assembly  for consideration

ArmInfo.  On August 28, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the RA Minister of High-Tech Industry, attended an extended meeting of the Digital Transformation Committee of the  American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham).  As reported by the press  service of the department, the meeting was also attended by First  Deputy Minister Gevorg Mantashyan, Director of the Information  Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA) Nerses Yeritsyan, AmCham members,  and representatives of the US Embassy. 

Mkhitar Hayrapetyan greeted the participants of the meeting and noted  that after lengthy discussions, the draft law "On Cybersecurity" was  finally approved by the government and submitted to the National  Assembly for consideration.  The Minister emphasized the need to  create a cyber-secure environment in both the public and private  sectors, highlighting the importance of  joint efforts to achieve  this goal. The meeting than focused on the feedback and  recommendations provided by AmCham regarding the draft law.
