ArmInfo. On August 27, a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Vine and Wine Foundation was held, chaired by Gevorg Papoyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and RA Minister of Economy.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the Executive Director of the Foundation Zaruhi Muradyan presented the program and financial report of the structure for the first half of 2025. During the meeting, organizational issues and the budget of the International Wine Competition Mondial de Bruxelles, to be held in Armenia in 2026, were discussed. Hosting the competition in Armenia is a unique opportunity to showcase the country's thousand-year-old winemaking heritage, unique terroirs and rare grape varieties to the world. The Minister emphasized the significance of high-quality organization of the competition and its role as a platform for promoting Armenian winemaking and wine tourism globally. Gevorg Papoyan also pointed out the need to analyze the results of Armenian companies' participation in international wine exhibitions and submit reports on them.
