ArmInfo. The construction of the 32-kilometer road section Kajaran-Agarak (Tranche 4) of the North-South highway is proceeding at a rapid pace.
As reported by the press service of the Road Department Foundation, earthworks, construction of transport facilities and drilling of tunnels are currently underway. The source recalled that drilling work has already begun on the second tunnel, which will be about 530 meters long, with 40 meters already drilled by the contractor.
Additionally, reinforced concrete beams for bridges and overpasses are produced at three sites, with production underway at two of them, and preparations going at the third site. "The production process and quality are under the control of technical supervision and meet the established inspection standards," the Foundation noted.
