ArmInfo. Sustainable economic progress is impossible without comprehensive development of the intellectual property sphere. Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan made this statement at the opening of the national pavilion of Armenia at the international exhibition held within the framework of the 66th Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.
He emphasized the importance of protecting intellectual property effectively as a crucial element for sustainable economic growth. The Minister noted that this not only stimulates creative and innovative potential, but also promotes scientific research and enables the commercialization of traditional knowledge and cultural values. "For Armenia, this is not just legal regulation, but a strategic direction of national development," Papaoyan noted.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the Armenian pavilion showcased Armenian wines, Ararat cognac, samples of Armenian carpet weaving, and embroidery, as well as traditional dishes from the national cuisine.
