ArmInfo. An artificial intelligence plant worth $500 million will be constructed in Armenia. RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan posted this information on his Facebook page.
According to him, the new enterprise will be the largest technological project in the region. "Armenia is joining the global AI movement not as an observer, but as a creator of new opportunities. After months of preparatory work, the AI company, the Armenian government and NVIDIA are launching a joint project that will radically change the technological map of our region. The project will involve a $500 million, investment, thousands of NVIDIA 3D printers, and the creation of infrastructure with a capacity of over 100 megawatts," the minister emphasized, noting that the project is set to launch in 2026. Hayrapetyan highlighted that the AI factory will serve a platform for innovation, education, science and entrepreneurship. It will drive the development of local and international startups, bridge science and technology, and transform Armenia into a regional tech hub, where artificial intelligence is truly created.
