ArmInfo. Compared to 2018, funding for science in Armenia has increased by 280%, reaching 40.2 billion drams (as of 2024), as reported by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan in Parliament on June 10.
The funds were directed, as she explained, to the implementation of capital expenditures, the purchase of equipment, increasing salaries and many more. According to the minister, science is becoming a competitive activity in Armenia in terms of salaries.
