ArmInfo. The metallurgical industry of Armenia in January-April 2025 reduced production volumes by 23% per annum (against 24% growth a year ago). This is evidenced by the data of the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
In particular, the production of copper concentrate in Armenia reversed its annual dynamics from 37.2% growth towards 27.6% decline, amounting to 76.1 thousand tons.
The volumes of molybdenum concentrate produced in the country accelerated in the annual decline from 9.2% to 24%, amounting to 4.2 thousand tons.
The output of ferromolybdenum in the annual context slowed down in the decline from 45.5% to 33.2%, amounting to 1,056 thousand tons.
The production of aluminum foil significantly slowed its decline from 34.2% to 2.2%, with a volume of 6.4 thousand tons.
The production of zinc concentrate continued to grow, with an acceleration in annual rates from 0.4% to 17.2%, and a volume of 3.9 thousand tons.
The production of steel pipes, hollow sections and fittings also continued to grow, but with a slowdown in annual rates from 42.4% to 6.3%, amounting to 7.3 thousand tons.
All metals produced in Armenia are exported, mainly to Europe and the USA.
