ArmInfo.As part of a working visit to London, a delegation led by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan met with the Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Teresa Czerwinska.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Finance, the Armenian delegation also included Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, and Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Hovhannes Khachatryan.
The EIB Vice President highly appreciated the current level of cooperation with Armenia and expressed hope for strengthening relations and active work on new investment programs in the near future. Minister Hovhannisyan also met with the Minister of International Cooperation of Egypt Rania Al-Mashat. During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential for expanding economic cooperation, and sharing experiences in improving the investment climate. During the working visit, Minister Hovhannisyan held several discussions with selected groups of institutional investors, as well as with interested representatives of JP Morgan, Bank of America and other major financial institutions. These meetings serve as an exclusive platform for dialogue on the economic and financial development of Armenia, facilitating the exchange of ideas and opinions between investors and politicians.
