Fab Lab digital production laboratory opened in Gyumri

ArmInfo.Fab Lab digital production laboratory opened at the Gyumri branch of the State  Academy of Arts of Armenia. The initiative was launched as part of the AGBU Armenia "Katapult" Creative Acceleration Program, supported by the European Union in Armenia and in partnership with the "Fab Lab  Armenia"  Educational Foundation and the Strategic Development Agency (SDA) NGO.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education,  Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the goal of  the created Fab Lab is to provide access to education, innovative  tools, knowledge and financial resources through technologies and  digital products.  The Fab Lab at the Gyumri branch of the Armenian  State Academy of Arts is part of the Armenian Fab Lab networks and a  global community of over 3,000 labs. It is open to not only  students  and faculty of the Academy of Arts, but also to all creative  individuals in the community.
