As reported by TASS, today, December 12, the prime ministers of the CIS countries inspected the Bauman Moscow State Technical University dormitory "Spectrum". They talked to the students living in the dormitory. Students from Uzbekistan and Belarus live in one of the rooms, the heads of government of these countries took pictures with them as a keepsake. Then the heads of government got acquainted with the work of the food court and the "Novoselye" information center at the reception, where all the necessary documents for the settlement and support of students are processed.
The CIS and EAEU Heads of Government meetings will be held on December 12-13. In addition to deepening trade and economic cooperation, the meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council will discuss cultural and humanitarian cooperation. It is planned to approve a plan of priority events in the field of humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member states for 2025-2026. The document was prepared taking into account the Year of the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of Peace and Unity in the Fight against Nazism (2025), as well as the Year of Health (2026) declared in the Commonwealth. It is planned that the prime ministers of the Commonwealth countries will also sign other documents. Among them is the Memorandum on Cooperation of the CIS Member States in the Field of Digital Transformation of the Transport Complex. The document envisages the creation of conditions for "institutional and infrastructural transformations with the aim of building a digital transport system of the CIS countries", including using digital platforms and solutions.
The heads of delegations will also sign an Agreement on cooperation between the CIS member states in developing civil shipbuilding and manufacturing ship components. The document should promote the development of civil shipbuilding in the Commonwealth, taking into account key areas of economic modernization and national strategic industry programs.
It is planned to sign an agreement on training employees for penal services, which provides for the training of bachelors, specialists, masters, scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in postgraduate studies, as well as in additional professional programs.
During the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in addition to discussing economic integration, the parties will exchange views on amending the regulation on the selection of joint cooperation projects in industries and providing financial assistance for their implementation.
The materials of the apparatus of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation note that the participants of the event will pay special attention to the topic of energy cooperation, as well as the creation of favorable conditions for the development of e-commerce within the EAEU
