The parties discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector. During the meeting they reviewed data on tourist traffic between Armenia and Romania, dicussed visa issuance processes, and explored tourist preferences. Additionally, they highlighted the potential for developing tourist destinations between the countries. They agreed to take proactive measures to boost mutual tourist flows.
<This meeting is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations in the tourism sector,> the Tourism Committee stated in a press release. It should be noted that according to the Statistical Committee, 1,915 tourists from Romania visited Armenia in January-September 2024, which is a 10.5% increase from the previous year.
