ArmInfo.  At the meeting of the RA National Assembly Committee on Economic Affairs held on September 30, Argishti Darbinyan, a member of the RA National Assembly from the opposition Strong Armenia faction, was elected deputy chair of the committee.

Arminfo.  The legislative package of amendments to the Law “On Electronic Communications” and related laws is aimed at comprehensively reforming the communications sector, strengthening state control, combating the shadow electronics market, and enhancing consumer rights. At a meeting of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the RA National Assembly on September 30, the amendments to the above-mentioned package submitted by the RA government for first reading are being discussed.

ArmInfo. The French Development Agency (AFD) may open a €250 million credit line for Armenia. The signing of a corresponding agreement with the AFD is included in the agenda of the government meeting to be held on October 1.

On September 29, the annual meeting of the regional technical assistance program for financial education of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands on the topic of "Strengthening financial stability" began at the Central Bank of Armenia.
